“All traditions of culture and faith have tales of people breaking out of their limited viewpoint, suddenly seeing the universe in crystal clarity, as if they’ve unlocked the secret of life itself.”

  • “It is far from the exclusive preserve of those who attribute it to a personal deity. Belief about the source of these powers will always be affected by upbringing, nationality and culture. this power is far more internal and integral to every living being, accessible to everyone, ‘believer’ or not.”

(My comment:
I think true believers will enhance their performances even further through their faith. Though the “divine” influence is impossible to measure (quantify)  I have studied this overlap between the mind and spirituality, this other (and way deeper) “dimension” of this “new consciousness” for many years. It’s a highly complex subject… and in short, it largely depends on the depth (and breadth) of one’s personal faith. Enough said, but I could go on ‘ad finitem’ (though I wasn’t much of a Latin scholar).

“The Zone is where you find your best performance and everything flows. I believe you have to push the limit of an activity to get this kind of experience”

Sharing Some Quotes from the “late, great” Ayrton Senna

“When you’re writing there are times when you feel it’s a bit of a struggle. However, at other times you’re in what is called ‘the zone’ and writing just feels effortless. This happens when finding the right words is no longer a struggle; but this heightened state, as with most crafts usually comes with practise. Then words simply flow into your head faster than you can write them down (or can press the keyboard). But you have to really push your writing limits to get this kind of experience. “

Then later you look what you’ve written and think: “Bloody hell. That’s good. Did I really write that? Wonder where all that came from!”
