“As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him”. Psalm 18:30 (NIV)
The Psalmist says that “God’s way is perfect”; that includes His sense of timing. So perfect is God’s control of time that the apostle Paul said:
“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly”. Romans 5:6 (NIV) The key word here is “at just the right time”.
That act constituting the perfect sacrifice to redeem mankind from the power of sin and death was carried out in God’s perfect time. Not too early, not too late, but just at the right time. Jesus died for your sins and mine to redeem us at just the right time.
