“All traditions of culture and faith have tales of people breaking out of their limited viewpoint, suddenly seeing the universe in crystal clarity, as if they’ve unlocked the secret of life itself.”

“All traditions of culture and faith have tales of people breaking out of their limited viewpoint, suddenly seeing the universe in crystal clarity, as if they’ve unlocked the secret of life itself.

“It is far from the exclusive preserve of those who attribute it to a personal deity. Belief about the source of these powers will always be affected by upbringing, nationality and culture. this power is far more internal and integral to every living being, accessible to everyone, ‘believer’ or not.”

– Clyde Brolin writing in his fascinating book OVERDRIVE; FORMULA ONE IN THE ZONE

(My comment on this quote…
I think true believers will enhance their performances even further through their faith. Though the “divine” influence is impossible to measure (quantify) I have studied this overlap between the mind and spirituality, this other (and way deeper) “dimension” of this “new conscioussness” for many years (see

https://overlapbetweenmindandspirit.wordpress.com/.

It’s a highly complex subject… and in short, it largely depends on the depth (and breadth) of one’s personal faith. Enough said, but I could go on ‘ad finitem’ (though I wasn’t much of a Latin scholar).

    Hi

CAN’T KEEP UP…BUT THANKS FOR THE “THANX”
I’ve had many hundreds of thousands of comments on my various other WordPress blogs at https://craigsblogs.wordpress.com/2011/09/09/craigs-list-of-blogs-updated-sept-2011/
in recent years …true!) …obsessive or WHAT! Am really pleased you are enjoying my writings, as the reason I write is to share. However I am unable to keep up with the comments and was spending entire days just on replies on my various blog pages.

Though I’m rather “driven”, I still get really, really fatigued (there’s a few books there). so sorry can’t reply individually to all you good people scattered around the planet, but DO try to read as many as possible daily (and even moderate a few when I get a “mo”), I got swamped with comments on my various blogs, so have had to close them off on all of my blogs, except for one or two of particular interest to me – sorry and hope you can understand.

I do really appreciate your liking, linking to and/or following this blog (and “writing in”), so “thanks for the thanx”
